At McGinty Motorcars, located in Reading, PA, we believe that being a successful business means more than just serving customers-it means being an active and engaged member of the community. For years, our dealership has proudly supported local organizations, events, and causes that make our region a better place to live, work, and play. From automotive gatherings to charitable initiatives, McGinty Motorcars is committed to giving back and strengthening the bonds that connect us all.

Celebrating Automotive Culture Through Local Events

As a dealership with a deep passion for automobiles, McGinty Motorcars is proud to support events that bring together fellow car enthusiasts from across the region. Each year, we collaborate with Classic Harley-Davidson to host a community open house that welcomes motorcycle and car lovers alike. This annual gathering has become a beloved tradition, offering attendees the chance to explore stunning vehicles, connect with like-minded enthusiasts, and enjoy a day of community spirit.

We are also honored to serve as a sponsor for the Berks Cars and Coffee Car Show, one of the most anticipated automotive events in the area. This gathering attracts car collectors and admirers from Philadelphia, PA, and surrounding communities who come to showcase their prized vehicles and appreciate the craftsmanship of classic and modern automobiles. Our sponsorship helps ensure that this event continues to thrive and bring joy to automotive enthusiasts of all ages.

The Deutsche Classic Car Show is another event close to our hearts. As a sponsor, we help celebrate the rich heritage of German automotive engineering and design. Enthusiasts travel from as far as York, PA, to attend this spectacular showcase of European automotive excellence. Additionally, our sponsorship of the historic Duryea Hill Climb honors the pioneering spirit of early American automotive innovation and connects our community to the fascinating history of the automobile industry.

Supporting Local Sports and Education

McGinty Motorcars firmly believes in investing in the future of our community, and that starts with supporting local youth through sports and education. We are proud sponsors of Twin Valley Football, helping to provide young athletes with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed both on and off the field. Our commitment to Twin Valley extends beyond athletics-we also support Twin Valley Elementary School, contributing to educational initiatives that benefit students throughout their academic journey.

Education and opportunity go hand in hand, which is why we are honored to sponsor the Reading Corvette Club Scholarship program. This initiative provides financial assistance to deserving students who are pursuing higher education, helping them achieve their dreams and build brighter futures. Many scholarship recipients come from communities like Morgantown, PA, where access to educational funding can make a significant difference in a young person's life.

Our support for the Reading High Reunion demonstrates our commitment to celebrating the achievements of local graduates and fostering connections among alumni who have gone on to make meaningful contributions to society. These reunions bring together generations of Reading High School graduates, creating opportunities for networking, mentorship, and community building.

Giving Back Through Charitable Organizations

At McGinty Motorcars, we understand that true community involvement means stepping up to help those in need. We are dedicated supporters of Helping Harvest, an organization that works tirelessly to combat food insecurity in our region. Our team actively participates in collecting and donating food to support their mission, ensuring that families throughout Berks County and beyond have access to nutritious meals. Residents from Hulmeville, PA, and other communities benefit from the essential work this organization performs.

We also proudly support Opportunity House, a vital organization that provides shelter and services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. McGinty Motorcars regularly donates toiletries, diapers, and other necessities to help meet the basic needs of those staying at the shelter.

Unite for Her is another organization we are honored to support. This nonprofit provides integrative therapies and wellness services to individuals affected by breast and ovarian cancer, helping them navigate their journey with dignity and support. Our involvement with Unite for Her reflects our commitment to health and wellness initiatives that strengthen our community. Families from Bristol, PA, and throughout the greater region benefit from the compassionate services this organization provides.

Celebrating Local Culture and Landmarks

McGinty Motorcars takes great pride in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of our region. We sponsored a bench at the iconic Reading Pagoda and contributed to fundraising efforts for its renovation. This beloved landmark attracts visitors from across Pennsylvania and serves as a symbol of our community's unique character and history. By supporting its preservation, we help ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy this treasured site.

We are also enthusiastic participants in West Reading 2nd Friday Nights, a monthly celebration that transforms the streets into a vibrant festival of art, music, and community spirit. Our involvement in this event helps support local businesses, artists, and performers while providing residents with memorable experiences that strengthen neighborhood bonds.

Partnering with Local Sports Entertainment

Our community involvement extends to supporting local sports entertainment as well. McGinty Motorcars is proud to partner with the Reading Phillies by loaning our 4-wheeler for use by the beloved Philly Phanatic during games. This partnership brings smiles to fans of all ages and adds to the excitement of minor league baseball in our region.

We are also honored to serve as a sponsor for Berks Celtic, supporting cultural celebrations that honor the rich Celtic heritage present in our community. These events bring together families and individuals who appreciate traditional music, dance, and customs, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and celebration.
